As you come down the driveway into the courtyard, you'll find the Granary on your right hand side.

 

A charming gite on the first floor of a stone built barn, dating from the 15th Century.  Accommodating 2 people comfortably (with the option of 2 further guests on an occasional basis).

​

As you come in to the entrance hall, you'll find a convenient utility area under the stairs (which lead up to the apartment) with coat hooks, shoe rack, storage cupboard, additional fridge/freezer, washing machine & tumble dryer.

​

At the top of the stairs, off the landing, you'll find a well appointed shower room with a luxury shower, toilet, hand-wash basin, storage, and a heated towel rail.

​

Also accessible from the landing is the bedroom and open plan living/kitchen area.  The bedroom has a super king size bed (which can be converted to two singles) and space for a cot.  French doors lead out to the balcony with table & 4 chairs with views over the courtyard and countryside beyond.

​

The open plan living space has dual aspect views of the courtyard, garden and woodland and comprises a well equipped kitchen, dining area for 6, and a comfortable seating area (including bed settee).  A smart TV with English satellite channels and DVD player  is also provided.  There is also access to the balcony so you can enjoy the warm evenings or a morning coffee.

Independently controlled electric radiators provide heating throughout.

Outdoor Space

To the front of the Granary is a seating area with BBQ and views to the river and meadow.

​

The balcony has a dining table and seating for 4 allowing you to enjoy an al-fresco dinner or morning coffee.

Pricing

​The Granary is closed from the 1st October until the 1st March.

​

All bedding, linen, towels, tea-towels and internet access are provided free of charge.

​​

A £200 (£300 if bringing pets) security bond is required to secure your booking.

The security bond will be refunded within 14 days after departure, minus costs for any damage or breakages.

​

All taxes (tax de sejour) and water are included in all rentals.

​

Payment must be made by bank transfer or cash (GBP or Euros)​
