WiFi

We have WiFi!  We might be in the middle of the countryside, but we do have some mod-cons!  WiFi is included and free of charge for your stay.

The River

The Argenton River runs alongside the property and you are welcome to use it as you wish.  We have a rowing boat and kayaks that can be borrowed at your own risk, and fishing tackle is available (just speak to us when you're here). 

Length of Stay

We can offer 1 week, 1 month, longer term rentals, or for those looking to reside in France we can do a 1 year furnished rental. 

If you just want a short holiday, we can do that, or if you are looking at relocating to France and need a base to search from, we can do that too!

Pets

We normally only allow two pets (by prior arrangement), but speak to us if you want to bring a whole menagerie!

Electricity Costs

Electricity costs are not included in the cost of your rental (long term rentals only).  Each property has its own electricity meter, and costs are payable monthly (in cash, Euros please!).

Housekeeping

All bedding, linens, towels and tea-towels are supplied, so you don't need to bring your own, unless you really want to!

We don't offer housekeeping during your stay, but washing machines, tumble dryers and vacuum cleaners are available for your use.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside any of our buildings, but ashtrays can be provided for smoking otuside.

Security Bond

A security bond of £200 (£300 if bringing pets) is payable at the time of booking.  This will be refunded within 14 days of your departure, minus any costs for breakages or damage.

Self Catering

Our gites are self catering and come with fully equipped kitchens for your convenience.  Both properties have conventional ovens, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, toaster, kettle, filter coffee maker etc.
