The Millers House

 Welcome to our Millers House.

​

As you come down the driveway into the courtyard, you'll find the Millers House and private fenced garden on your left, bordering the river to one side.

​

Set over three floors, the Millers House can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably across 2 bedrooms with a 3rd bedroom as an optional extra.

​

On the ground floor is an open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room, with comfortable seating for 6 in front of a wood burning stove, as well as having UK & French TV and DVD player.  

​

Going up the oak staircase you find a convenient study area (including a book swap library), a large double bedroom with dual aspect windows, feature fireplace and wood beams, and a family shower room (with dual hand basins, toilet and shower).

​

Moving up to the attic, you'll find a family bedroom with double AND twin beds (sleeping 4!), a small sitting area and oak beams.  There's also a hand basin in the room for your convenience.

The Garden

Outside the back of the house is a private garden fenced on three sides, bordering the Argenton river,

 

In the garden you'll find a BBQ, table & chairs and parasol with plenty of room for sun loungers.  You have direct access to the river from the garden and can make use of our rowing boat, kayaks and fishing tackle as you wish.

 

For the rainy days (we do get the odd one!) we have a games room with table tennis and darts, or when its sunny we also have boules and badminton for your use.

Pricing

​​All bedding, linen, towels, tea-towels and internet access are provided free of charge.

​

All taxes (Tax de Sejour), water and gas are included in all rentals.

​

Electricity is not included for long lets (minimum one month) and contract (charged at cost) - individual meter payments must be made monthly, payable in cash (Euros) only.

Firewood is not included but can be purchased separately.

A £200  (£300 if bringing pets) security bond is required to secure your booking.

The security bond will be refunded within 14 days after departure, minus costs for any damage or breakages.

Payment must be made by bank transfer or cash (GBP or Euros)​
